Long time no post! Really looking to continuing my work within the world of weddings and sharing the work of all the talent creatives that I’ll be collaborating over the coming months.
Not long before ‘lockdown’ happened I was fortunate to document milliner Fi Graham who just so happens to be based a short walk from myself in North London. I initially met Fi while she was showcasing her designs at a most curious wedding fair in Shoreditch and knew instantly that I wanted to work with her.
I was drawn to Fi’s hats that are elegant and timeless in design and can be worn for both weddings and a variety of other special occasions. It was a pleasure being able to visit her studio and in the near future I plan to utilize her designs in an editorial photo shoot.
Isabel Dodd is an incredibly talented artist who I was lucky enough to see create first hand. Through her fabric manipulation technique she is able to stitch together intricate and complex floral designs ultimately developing everlasting flowers.
Her artwork would be a beautiful and unique addition to any wedding day, whether that may be as interior or table decoration, even as the bride’s bouquet which could be made to last a lifetime. I believe it goes without saying that Isabel’s craft will be appreciated by those couples with defined tastes in art and design and who would spare no expense in ensuring every last visual aspect of their wedding is perfect to the very smallest details.

Last Friday I had the pleasure of visiting Miina Laitsaari, wedding dress designer and owner of bridal shop Indiebride in South London.
Just visiting to see the showroom itself is worth it, being based in the attic of christ church on brixton road it provides a unique and intimate atmosphere. Brides to be would certainly get lost in the rows of beautiful Bohemian and vintage inspired dresses.
I was also fortunate to capture the team at work in their studio working on custom orders, I’m looking forward seeing what Indiebride has in store for 2020.
